Jada Pinkett-Smith And Willow Smith Are Taking Over Facebook – Again
If you were among the many people who enjoyed listening to Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Jones drop raw gems during their kitchen-table style conversations, then you’ll be happy to know the reboot is here!
After going viral on YouTube several years ago, the generations of #blackgirlmagic will return to their seat at the table, with their new show, "Red Table Talk."
Check out the preview below for the 10-episode series:
Although five years has passed since the last video, the new show promises to be just as deep as before, only it will appear on Facebook Watch rather than YouTube.
“'Red Table Talk' is about raw truth, love, and deep passion,” Jada shared with PEOPLE. “My mother is old school, Willow is new school, and I find myself right in the middle. I’ve done a lot of sharing and growing on Facebook. Being able to engage with the Facebook Watch community in such a deeply personal way is amazing, and I’m excited to be part of something new.”
Even a more mature Willow shared her thoughts on returning to the table with her mother and grandmother: “As a 17-year-old, it’s important for me to be able to talk openly about what’s going on in my life…there have been too many times I have felt alone. I feel like the only real valuable thing in life is sharing what we’ve gone through. Conversation, storytelling, pain, pleasure, joy, happiness and communicating that to each other is all that life really is. And for real, we put it #AllOnTheTable.”
With Jada’s husband, Will Smith, taking over the ‘gram with his useful advice, we can’t wait to hear the other gems the family has to offer!
The show is set to be release May 7 on Facebook’s video platform, Facebook Watch.
